KDRAMA REVIEW: WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING

Watch Korean dramas online all day err day. Before we even start on the review, can we just all stand and applause? How is Lee Jong Suk so bootiful? Even if the drama he is in has flaws and loopholes, all will be forgiven. *faints* 

Ok, so this is a very recent drama. This drama is about Hong Joo (Bae Suzy) who can see the future deaths of people in her dreams. She doesn't know exactly when the deaths will happen so she has to be extra attentive to the details in her dreams. She notes them down on post-its so she won't forget. Then Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) came into her life as her neighbour. She already had a dream prior his arrival but it's a future dream.

Lee Yoo Bum (Lee Sang Yeob) is lawyer and he had a history with Jae Chan. These two had many misunderstandings during the whole drama. Then Han Woo Tak (Jung Hae In) who is a police officer entered their lives from an accident that was bound to happen but didn't. After a few incidents, Woo Tak and Jae Chan has the same abilities as Hong Joo. They tried to figure out the reason behind their abilities. It all led back to Hong Joo's past. Since then, they all tried to help each other stay out of trouble and also protect Hong Joo from her death.

Bottom line, I loved this drama. It was unpredictable and interesting. I love the mystery behind every dream. On top of that, all the male leads in this drama were drool worthy.

The bad guys played their characters really well. This drama was one of the few Korean dramas that didn't have a dumb cutesy female character. Suzy's character was wise and bold. She did a great job. The build up towards the climax was worth the wait. I loved the climax and the ending.

Having said all that, all dramas have loopholes or simply things or happenings that I don't understand. Hong Joo started out having dreams about deaths of random people but over time she only had dreams about Jae Chan's daily struggles. I mean, I wouldn't complain if I dream of him too but I don't understand the transition. Did I miss something?

Overall, I would urge people to watch this drama. It was satisfying. Have fun binge watching it!
