Fifth day?! Wow.
We had our iftar at home as I wasn't feeling too well. I made mac and cheese but not with macroni because I had none on hand. I used Linguini. Weird. I added mushroom, chicken strips and chili flakes. Well, it was edible. Alhamdulillah.
Since we are on the topic of food, I went to Geylang Bazaar the day before Ramadhan. It was packed with hipster food. Trying new things are nice and all but it was too overwhelming, not to mention the steep price points. I wish I can afford to just open up a juice bar right smack in the middle of the bazaar where people can drink clean.
The Ramadhan bazaar we see in Johor is very very different from what we see here. Johor will have food. Like proper food. Lemang and all. Minimal hipster stuff.
What ever it is, during the month of Ramadhan, Geylang will be damn packed so I will usually just want to get out of there 10 mins after we set foot. I cannot. I will be drinking bottled water anyways.
Still want that Taro Thai Iced Tea,
Ja
