Assalamu'alaikum.
Sorry for not updating yesterday. I slacked at my parents' place since Wan was working the whole day. Afterwhich we went over to Century Square for iftar. Penang Culture again. My parents love the food there.
After Magrib and Isyak at Darul Gufran, we head over to Airport for some ice cream. Before that, OMG!! Adam was extra cranky at Gufran. He has always been very sensitive to loud sounds since he was a baby. So every time we go to a mosque, he acts up when the Imam speaks on the microphone. The speakers are really loud in mosques, especially so in the muslimah section and Adam freaks out every single time.
Gufran was no exception. It was super crowded and Adam was screaming at the top of his lungs everytime the speaker goes on. Not to mention the number of eyeballs that were on me.
Imagine when everyone was performing Isyak prayers. Every few seconds, he will cry loudly. So I just carried him to the staircase where the speakers were not as loud. Ya Allah, give me strength. *insert muscle emoji*
TODAY...
We went to NTUC earlier to get some vegetables as we were running low. I don't understand how some people don't eat vegetables at all. Maybe because they don't have a specific taste to them. Just crunchiness and bitterness. But me likey!
Anyway, for iftar, we had ricebox and I made vegetable soup for us. Adam had mashed potato with chicken. He hasn't been eating well lately. Very fussy. I don't know what else to prepare for him!! Stress!
Today is the last day of Terawih. I feel extremely sad. We don't know where we will be next Terawih. I will miss Terawih and Ramadhan. Let's pray that we all meet then next Ramadhan in good health InshaaAllah.
My family is texting me asking me if I want to go to Geylang later. OMG. I don't think I can handle Adam's crankiness during his bedtime. If he is already asleep, then it's a different story. The fact that he is sleepy and it's too hot and noisy for him to fall asleep, I cannot. Although I would love to go! I have yet to try the macaron ice cream. Boo!
