RAMADHAN DAY 8: DURIANS AND 18TH MONTH MILESTONE

Assalamu'alaikum.

Here's wishing that you had a fulfilling 8th Ramadhan. We didn't do much today. Read more webtoons today. I find myself reading mostly strips from the comedy section. LOL. It's really not easy to create humorous content for people. It's either funny or not. So for iftar, I made cheese carbonara with vegetables and chicken AKA whatever is in the fridge and pantry. Alhamdulillah.

At around 10pm, Baba called and asked if we wanted durians. Duh ya. It's been ages since we had durians. He gave us two big ones! It's definitely too much for us. So we ended up packing some to send over to my inlaw's place tomorrow.

So when I turned 27 yesterday, Adam is exactly 18 months old. If he is in school, he would be in the Toddler class. I've been with toddlers daily and I'd say that Adam is definitely not there yet. Most of his skills are not there yet. Every child develops at different pace so I'm not worried. It's just that I don't want him to be left out in school. You know, for example, he can't feed himself and his friends are all eating rice but he is still on porridge (due to the fact that everyone his age at least has around 10 teeth while he has 4; partially out). I did try giving him rice but he doesn't eat as much. His vocabulary is expanding and he is catching on fast. His pronunciations are getting clearer and he is able to express his needs. Currently, I'm trying to convince Wan that it's ok for Adam to spend a bit more time at home. Here's Adam being a kitty cat.

Groaning in pain as Adam is sitting on my head(he is sleepy and wants my attention) while I type,
Ja
