Assalamu'alaikum.
Ok. I tried the red burger. Yeay. It was spicier than I expected. The bun itself was spicy. It was goooood but I think it's too much for me. There's egg as well so it's kinda filling. I think Wan would love it!
Ok, Adam just hit another milestone! His central incisors are all insight! The bottom two grew when he was about 13months old. Now, the the top ones are insight and he is 17months old! Yeay. Well, toddlers his age have more than 10 teeth now and they are eating real solid food like rice and biscuits. Adam is still eating like a 7 month old baby but it's ok! Wan keeps saying that it's my fault because I always say, "Don't grow too fast my baby!" -_-''
Today, I registered for Adam's childcare. That was a really big step for me!! *pat pat* I still have no idea where to place him. I still have hope that he will go to a kindergarten instead of a full day childcare. That aside, Singapore's childcare centres usually have long waiting lists. So to avoid any setbacks or disappointments, I need to register first. Kiasu.
Adam is not super clingy and I hope that he can adapt well to his school. I see new toddlers every year and it's heart wrenching to see them cry every single day. Argh. My heart. I hope I don't end up squatting outside the school crying by myself.
With all that said, it means I'm going to have to go back to work soon. I have to start sending out resumes soon. Mixed feelings. I want to start earning again (And anyway, it's not like we have a choice given the standard of living and Adam's school fees coming up). Real bad. But, I love staying at home, cook for Wan and Adam, clean the house, being able to witness Adam grow and have my own daily routine. For now, I have 7 more months to be in a state of denial before I start working and Adam starts school.
Wishing someone would invent a time machine or maybe a portable money making machine,
Ja
